The Mekong Delta Small And Medium Towns Water Supply Program funded by French Development Agency AFD and managed by Vietnam Development Bank VDB covers 06 provinces in the Mekong Delta Region of South Vietnam: An Giang, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Vinh Long and Tra Vinh and aims at (i) increasing the water supply coverage notably in small towns, (ii) strengthen the capabilities of the targeted Provincial Water Supply Companies (PWSC).

The total investment of the Program is EUR 32million dividing the Component A valueing EUR 30 million credit line  to finance various projects (construction, rehabilitation, studies, etc) on the relending method and Component B valueing EUR2 million to finance the technical support on the nonrefundable aid method.

VINACT acted in the program as the consultant of preparing the project to organize the international open bidding , to select the contractor to carry out the Component of technical assistance on the Financial Agreement No. CVN 301302 dated  22/10/2007 singed between Ministry of Finance – Government of Vietnam and French Development Agency (AFD), in particular:

- Making plan of bidding consultant

- Preparing the expression of interest

- Building the criteria and selecting the short list to send the invitation to the consultant selection process

- Preparing the bidding document

- Organizing the consultant selection…
